Home care franchise FAQ
Straight answers to the questions prospective All Hours owners ask us most. Don't see yours? Just reach out.
Who is eligible to own an All Hours Home Healthcare franchise?
All Hours franchises are awarded exclusively to licensed healthcare providers. Beyond that, we look for leadership, compassion, a commitment to following a proven system, and the financial readiness to launch and grow a business.
Why are franchises awarded only to licensed healthcare providers?
Because the people who carry our name should already know what exceptional care looks like. Licensed owners bring clinical judgment, credibility with hospitals and physicians, and a firsthand commitment to patient safety. Being awarded an All Hours franchise is an honor, and it is what makes every location worthy of a family’s trust.
I am a licensed healthcare provider with no business experience. Can I succeed?
Yes. You bring the clinical expertise; we teach the business. Our training covers operations, caregiver recruiting, scheduling, billing, financial management, compliance, and local marketing, followed by ongoing coaching after you open.
What kind of care do All Hours franchises provide?
All Hours locations provide both medical and non-medical home care, including skilled medical care at home, personal care, companion care, respite, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, transitional care, and 24-hour and live-in support, all under the leadership of a licensed healthcare provider. Agency licensing requirements vary by state, and we help you navigate the process for your territory.
How much does it cost to open an All Hours Home Healthcare franchise?
According to our 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), the initial franchise fee is $49,500 and the total estimated initial investment ranges from $90,400 to $162,000, including the franchise fee. Ongoing fees include a royalty of 5% of gross revenues or $1,000 per month (whichever is greater) and a brand fund contribution of 1% of gross revenues or $200 per month (whichever is greater). The franchise term is 5 years with one 5-year renewal and no renewal fee.
Do I get a protected territory?
Yes. Each franchise is awarded a defined territory based on population and demographic data. The specifics of territory protection are described in the FDD.
What training is provided?
You will complete comprehensive initial training designed for licensed healthcare providers becoming business owners: operations, caregiver recruiting and retention, client intake, scheduling, billing, compliance, and local marketing, followed by ongoing coaching once you open.
Can I run this as a semi-absentee owner?
Most owners are hands-on during launch. As the business grows and you build a strong management team, some owners transition into a more executive role. We will discuss what is realistic for your situation during the discovery process.
How long does it take to open?
Timelines depend largely on state licensing requirements. Many owners open within several months of signing; we will give you a state-specific estimate during the process.
Is financing available?
We can introduce you to third-party lenders familiar with franchise financing, including SBA loan options. Approval depends on your individual credit and financial profile.
